For Dylan Mack, homeownership came with both promise and problems. His Birmingham home had strong bones but was plagued by leaks, old paneling, and outdated finishes. He dreamed of turning it into a solid, modern, and comfortable space — a home built to last.

Before

The home showed years of wear: rotting fascia, leaky basements, outdated electrical systems, and closed-off interiors. Like many older Birmingham homes, it needed a total refresh — from structure to style. Dylan wanted a home that felt safe, functional, and beautiful, inside and out.

Transformation Process

We began by addressing the structure and exterior — installing all-new windows (some enlarged for egress), a new roof, gutters, and fresh paint on the siding and trim. Inside, we removed all paneling, added insulation and sheetrock, and gave the home a clean, modern finish.

The kitchen received a new island and refinished cabinets, while both bathrooms were remodeled — expanding the master shower into a previous closet. We replaced old flooring with new hardwood, refinished existing planks, and repainted the entire interior for a cohesive look.

In the basement, our team tackled hidden leaks by installing a BDry system and sump pump, Kevlar straps for structural support, and LVP flooring for durability. Every space was renewed with craftsmanship and care.

After

Today, Dylan’s home feels brand new — warm, open, and built for everyday living. The once-leaky basement is now a usable, dry extension of the home, while the updated kitchen and bathrooms add everyday comfort and value.
