Start with the land
Two lots with the same price can lead to very different budgets. Slope and rock, soil and drainage, trees, utilities, sewer or septic, setbacks and covenants all affect what you can build and what it will cost. Before you buy, we walk the lot with you and point out what matters – the same due-diligence approach we describe in our eight-part guide to lot selection.
Design that fits the site
We work with your architect from early design, or introduce you to architects and designers we trust. Together we place the house for sun, views and privacy, plan the driveway and drainage, and keep the design and the budget aligned with real construction costs as the plans develop.
Building in Birmingham and Shelby County
We build in Vestavia Hills – including new construction on Cahaba Heights Road – Mountain Brook, Homewood, Hoover and along the US-280 corridor in Greystone, Indian Springs Village and Chelsea. Infill lots in established neighborhoods and wooded lots further out each come with their own challenges; we have handled both.
One team from foundation to keys
Once construction starts, your superintendent runs the site and coordinates every trade, and your project manager walks the house with you regularly. You receive progress updates, decisions are documented, and the final walkthrough ends with a home that is clean, complete and backed by a written warranty.
