Renovating Greystone homes
Greystone grew up along US-280 from the 1990s onward as a golf community of substantial homes – brick and stone exteriors, two-story foyers, formal rooms and large lots. Many of those homes are now twenty to thirty years old, and their kitchens, bathrooms and finishes show it, even though the houses themselves are well built.
We restored the exterior of a Greystone home with a mortar wash over the original brick, giving it a softer, timeless look. Inside, the most common projects are kitchens re-planned around how a family actually cooks and entertains, primary bathrooms with walk-in showers and freestanding tubs, and lower levels finished into media rooms, gyms or guest suites.
Detail at a larger scale
A large home multiplies every decision – more tile, more trim, more lighting, more coordination between trades. Our project manager and superintendent plan the sequence of work, order materials early and keep you updated weekly, so a big renovation stays organized and predictable.
Custom homes along US-280
Beyond renovations, we build custom homes in the US-280 corridor and Shelby County, working with your architect or our design partners from lot evaluation to final walkthrough.
