SouthFace created a much-needed facility for our organization and completed it in a short time with great attention to detail; a really smooth process that everyone here appreciated. Johnny is so easy and nice to work with--dedicated and very hands on from start to finish. Final result looked beautiful and was built well.

Damaged chimney rebuilding

Johnny and his team did a great job on the repairs for my house, rebuilding the damaged chimney and a bay window. Despite weather and supplier challenges, they stayed on schedule and on budget. You can tell they really care. From the quote to the wrap up, everything was communicated thoroughly and in a timely manner. While it wasn't the cheapest quote I got, Johnny's professionalism stood out and the quality workmanship, honesty and fair business practices stood out. I would hire them again and highly recommend.

SouthFace did an amazing job on an exterior paint job in Homewood. Johnny and the guys did an incredible job putting life back in to an older home. My neighbors even asked for their contact info. Great job. I would use again.

SouthFace Renovations did a wonderful job painting my living room, kitchen, and dining room. Reasonable price, and cleaned up after themselves very well (which was very impressive). The rooms the painted looked great after the job was completely finished and Johnny even helped my mother installed a new a/c filter and replaced her porch light bulb for free! I would definitely refer him to all friends and family. Will be using Johnny and SouthFace in the future too.

I normally don't leave reviews for anything, but after my wonderful experience with Southface Renovations I decided to share. We wanted to paint the interior of our 2 store home (with 20 ft ceilings in living room and foyer), as well as the trim, windows, gutters, and downspouts on the exterior. I started by getting quotes from the top two painting companies listed on Birmingham's Angie's List. After receiving the quotes, I picked one of them. But, after initially telling me it would be about a week before they could start, he later said it would be closer to 4 weeks. I wanted it done sooner, so I went back to Angie's List and ended up calling Johnny with Southface to request an estimate. We spoke at about 3 pm and I told him the situation. Because it had been raining that day he was free... he came and met me at my house 2 HOURS LATER, and 30 miles away. Not only was his estimate LOWER than the two others I received, he also told me he could start in a couple days. I couldn't be happier with the results and experience with Johnny and his crew. We painted the interior walls and exterior trim of our 2 story home. Johnny and his crew were extremely skilled, courteous, and always on time. My wife, newborn son, and 2 year old daughter were at home with them during the entire process. They were extremely friendly and courteous...and American. What probably amazed me the most was how Johnny went above and beyond to make sure we were happy. He triple-checked the work and even painted some areas that weren't included in the estimate...FREE. Everything went perfectly throughout this entire process. They were completely finished with two coats in less than 3 days. I would recommend Johnny and Southace Renovations to everyone.

My wife and I were very pleased overall with our experience with Southface Renovations and its owner Johnny DeBlieux. We chose three vendors that were highly rated on Angie's List to provide estimates including Southface. Johnny was very professional during the estimating visit and made us comfortable that the work would be done to our satisfaction. Southface was not the cheapest but we are aware that you get what you pay for. Johnny met with us a second time prior to beginning the job to make sure that we communicated clearly about what we wanted and our expectations. Communication was always excellent as we drew close to the beginning of the project. Once Johnny's crew started they were always professional, on time, cleanly and responsive. In particular his crew leader, Wes Daniel, was always willing to work with us on site to make sure our expectations were being met. Both my wife and I were very assured that Wes would make sure the job was done well and on time. They completed the work to our satisfaction (we have high standards) and did an excellent job of cleaning up the work site before leaving. It was our best experience with any contractor and we have had multiple experiences We would highly recommend Southface.

My wife and I contacted SouthFace for some interior work on our new home we purchased. We wanted to separate two bedrooms that had been joined together and have them painted. The outcome was amazing. It well exceeded out expectations. The staff were professional and helpful. We would recommend them to any one.

Johnny and his team did so many things at our house, I can't even remember them all! We initially needed him to paint and repair the exterior of our house, and also tear down an old deck and spruce up the brick courtyard underneath. When other things come up (as they usually do with an older house) he did most free of charge, or gave us a great rate. We definitely felt like he had our best interest at heart. We were preparing to put our house on the market, so we didn't want to sink a ton of money into something we would be leaving. All his hard work worked - our house sold 9 days after we put it on the market! Aside from everything looking great, Johnny and his team were so thoughtful and friendly. My 18 month old son and I were home most of the time they were here, and they were always very polite and clean. I would highly recommend SouthFace Renovations for your renovating needs - you won't regret it!!

Southface was a pleasure to have build my kitchen. Their work was precise, fairly priced, and timely. The crew was courteous, clean, and even interacted well with my three children. We lived in the house while doing a full kitchen remodel and a new deck with a porch. By the end of the job we had become friends and I missed them when it was over. They have also come back to check on how the kitchen was settling and made any esthetic touch ups that were needed. I HIGHLY recommend them!!
