Our process

A clear path from first visit to final walkthrough

Building or renovating a home is a big decision. Our process is designed to remove the guesswork: you always know what happens next, what it costs and who is responsible.

Step by step

Seven steps, one accountable team

Whether you are renovating a kitchen or building a custom home, every project follows the same proven path.

  1. 01

    First conversation

Call or send us a message. We ask a few questions about your home or lot, your goals and your timing, and set up a visit.

  2. 02

Consultation at your home or lot

We walk the house or the site with you, listen to your wish list and look at what is behind the walls – structure, systems, slope and drainage.

  3. 03

    Proposal & budget

You receive a detailed scope of work and a transparent proposal. Allowances are realistic, and you know exactly where your budget goes.

  4. 04

    Design & selections

With your architect or designer – or ours – we finalize plans and help you choose finishes, fixtures and materials, with samples in your own light.

  5. 05

    Permits & scheduling

We pull permits, order long-lead items early and schedule every trade, so construction runs without avoidable pauses.

  6. 06

    Construction

The superintendent runs the site every day and keeps it clean and safe; the project manager sends you weekly updates. Changes are priced and approved in writing before they are built.

  7. 07

    Final walkthrough & warranty

We walk through every room with you, finish the punch list and explain how everything works. Then we stand behind our work with a written warranty.

Questions

Before you get started

How soon can you start?

It depends on the size of the project and our schedule. Design, selections and permits usually take a few weeks to a few months; we will give you a realistic start date with your proposal.

What should I prepare for the consultation?

Anything that helps us understand your vision: photos you like, existing plans or surveys, a wish list, your timing and a budget range you are comfortable with. If you are building, bring what you know about the lot.

Who will I talk to during the project?

Every project has a project manager and a superintendent. Our project manager, Owen, knows every detail of your project, answers your questions and sends you regular updates; our superintendent, Mason, runs the job site every day. The owner, Johnny, stays involved from the first visit to the final walkthrough.

What warranty do you offer?

We stand behind our workmanship with a written warranty, and we come back to check on your home after you move back in. Manufacturer warranties apply to products and appliances.
