The Avalon Apartments Enhancement Project

This project showcases a comprehensive renovation across the Avalon Apartments, designed to elevate the resident experience through modern aesthetics, high-end finishes, and superior functionality. Our work focused on transforming the most vital areas of the home—the kitchens, bathrooms, and storage—by reimagining them for sophisticated, contemporary life.

Modern Kitchen Transformations

We recognized that the kitchen is the heart of the home and delivered two distinct, high-end designs to suit different tastes.

• The Bright Transitional Kitchen: This U-shaped kitchen is a study in bright, airy design. We installed crisp, white shaker cabinetry paired with elegant brushed-gold hardware. The centerpiece is a classic white apron-front (farmhouse) sink, perfectly positioned under a large window. Clean white quartz countertops and open shelving complete this timeless, welcoming space.

• The Sleek Contemporary Kitchen: For a more modern aesthetic, this kitchen features sophisticated light grey shaker cabinets and a full suite of stainless steel appliances. The design is anchored by a stunning marble-look quartz countertop that extends up the wall as a full-height slab backsplash, creating a seamless and luxurious feel. Under-cabinet lighting highlights the clean lines and polished finishes.

The Reimagined Bathroom: A Spa-Like Retreat

The original bathroom was completely updated to create a functional, spa-like sanctuary. We installed a new light grey vanity with a durable marble-look quartz top. The clear highlight is the high-tech mirrored medicine cabinet, which features integrated vertical LED lighting and convenient internal power outlets.

The new walk-in shower is enclosed in seamless glass and finished with floor-to-ceiling, large-format marble-look tile. This modern wet room is fully equipped with brushed nickel fixtures, including a rain showerhead, a separate handheld wand, and strategically placed accessibility grab bars for safety and comfort.

Functional Design: The Space-Saving Pantry

To maximize organization and maintain a clean aesthetic, we designed a custom built-in pantry. This smart storage solution is elegantly concealed behind a modern white sliding barn door on stainless steel hardware. Inside, deep, adjustable shelving provides abundant storage for groceries, dishware, and small appliances.
